Some advice from Mumbler mums and dads to new or first time dads!
“Try to get her to have a sleep or a bath or something when she can or offer to take the baby for a walk so she can get a rest”
“Breastfeeding makes women thirsty so be ready with a drink”
“Take a cushion for the hospital chair. They get uncomfortable but you can’t really complain about your back hurting when your wife is in labour”
“Do skin to skin as much as you can, the two weeks goes really quickly”
“Get loads of meals cooked and frozen so you can just put them in the oven for quick but healthy meals”
“Sleep when you can”
“You wont break them so get involved, change the nappies, get up in the night, help with bottles”
“Make lots of tea and coffee”
