Ripon Dance Academy provides high quality, fun and friendly dance lessons at Hugh Ripley Hall in Ripon for children aged 2 – 18. We offer a wide range of lessons including IDTA Ballet, IDTA Modern Jazz, IDTA Tap, Contemporary and Acrobatic dance. We currently run over 20 classes per week with over 100 students. All of our teachers are fully qualified and DBS checked.

Water Babies is the world’s leading Baby and Toddler swim school, swimming over 50,000 babies per week.
We’ll teach you to teach your little one to swim, from lesson one we’ll get your little one used to the sensation of water, developing their natural instincts and transforming these into core aquatic skills. Throughout our programme we use lots of song, games, toys and sensory activities suitable to each child’s stage of development, ensuring both you and your little one are having lots of fun whilst having precious time together and developing new skills. Swimming offers precious one to one time for you and your little one, whilst also offering the opportunity to meet lots of other parents and children in a relaxed and friendly environment.
By the end of our programme your little one will be swimming freely using different strokes and be able to keep themselves safe in and around water.
We work closely with Swim England, the governing body and we’ve woven their learn to swim framework through our programme. So you’ll be simply amazed at the progress your little one makes. And not only will they be able to swim independently and have learnt a skill for life – they will have grown in confidence too.

Swimming lessons take place at Ripon Grammar school on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening (5:00-6:30) and a Sunday 9-12.
4 swimmers per teacher is the maximum in each 30 minute lesson. Swim Perfect is approved by Swim England. Follows the Swim England Learn to swim programme.
