Christmas Party Games for children
Christmas Day Games – Taskmaster style!
If you watch Taskmaster you’ll know the rules already but if not , here is a brief overview of how to play the Mumbler version of Christmas Day Taskmaster!
Throughout Christmas day, one person (or the ‘Taskmaster’) will choose tasks for everyone else to complete. If there are 5 of you, 1 person will be the Taskmaster and decide who wins each task, and the other 4 will be players! All the tasks are family friendly and aimed at 4yrs+ so everyone can join in!
At the end of Christmas day the winner is the player with the most points! You could even decide on a prize…but I’ll leave that up to you!
The tasks – You can pick as many of the tasks as you want to and do them in any order!
Task 1 – Make the best Christmas decoration from used wrapping paper. You have 10 minutes.
Task 2 – Make and wear the fanciest Christmas hat, fanciest wins.
Task 3 – With your hands behind your back, put something on your head. Fastest wins.
Task 4 – Take turns to say as many Christmas words as you can starting with the letter T. If you can’t think of any words, you’re out.
Task 5 – Eat the most sprouts!
Task 6 – Draw the best picture of a snowman with your eyes closed – you have 1 minute!
Task 7 – Make up your own Christmas song!
Task 8 – Transfer as many peas/sweets as you can from one bowl to another. You cannot touch the peas with your hands, you cannot move the bowls. Most peas transferred wins. You have 30 seconds.
Task 9 – Make the best nativity scene using items from around your house. You have 15 minutes.
Task 10 – Build the tallest tower using wrapping paper. Your tower must stand by itself for 10 seconds. Tallest tower wins!
We would LOVE to see the results of any tasks you attempt, so please share them with us on social media! You can also share your own ideas for task there too!
