Easter Craft.
Saturday 23 March – Sunday 7 April, 11am – 3pm.
Head to Swanley Grange and design your own insect through the use of templates. What will your insect look like? Will it have wings and big body or a big head and short legs? How colourful will your insect be? You’ll get to make a fun piece of art for you to take home with you. Perfect for all ages and abilities.
Discover the Play Area.
Every day, 10am – 5pm with last admission at 4:30pm.
Scramble, swing and slide through the play area before heading on your Easter adventure. Explore a wooden abbey! Wobble across the rope bridges and scramble nets! Slip down a slide and zoom along the huge zipwire! There’s plenty of play for little ones too with toddler swings, sensory games, and an accessible swing too.
Enjoy a quieter visit to Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal.
Last admission is 4:30pm but our car parks don’t close until 6:30pm which gives you plenty of time for a quieter afternoon adventure.
The Visitor Centre is often filled with excitement, bright lights and loud noises. A quieter ticket office can be found at the West Gate entrance, with natural light and surrounded by the sound of nature. Enter the estate right next to Fountains Hall, 100m away from the toilets and baby change facilities – all of which have quieter flushes, taps and hand driers. You can start your Easter Egg hunt here too.
Experience nature with all your senses in the tea garden and orchard. Which are your favourite flowers? What wildlife can you see? Can you hear the water running down the river?
Wander through the woods along the high ride and visit the three follies. Hide in the trees or look at the view across the water garden. How many crawling beasties or flying birds can you spot?
